Data Sources and Use Policy

How APIRFQ presents PubChem, FDA and NMPA CDE records, source attribution, snapshots, cross-database associations and reuse limitations.

Source Records, Platform Work and Submitted Information

Product profiles distinguish published chemical or registry records, platform organization and cross-database associations, and any information submitted by businesses. A source citation identifies the origin of a claim; it does not imply that the source endorses our service. Business-submitted information is not an official record and must not be presented as independently certified.

PubChem Chemical Information

PubChem is used for chemical identifiers, structures and reported or computed properties. A CAS identifier, salt form, free base and related substance must not be treated as interchangeable. Contributor annotations can have separate copyright or license conditions. PubChem access does not grant unrestricted commercial rights to every field, annotation or image.

FDA Public DMF Lists

FDA public lists provide fields such as DMF identifiers, types, holders, subjects and activity status. They do not disclose the confidential technical contents of a DMF. A public list entry is not product approval, a site inspection result or a supplier quality certificate. Check the snapshot and source record for the particular information being used.

NMPA CDE Registry Information

CDE sections refer to publicly displayed registry fields and the snapshot cited on the product profile. Where a profile uses a supplied export, that export and its collection date are distinguished from an independently checked current record. Registry status, company names and substance forms require contextual interpretation. Public access is not a blanket license to reproduce the website, its presentation or third-party materials.

Dates, Coverage and Source Verification

Profiles cite their source records and relevant snapshot or checked dates. The date a source was consulted does not necessarily mean every underlying record was refreshed then. Data coverage is limited to the records actually presented. Official data can change after collection; use current official information when assessing status and do not treat the platform as a replacement for regulatory verification.

Associations and Derived Information

The platform organizes identifiers and registry records and presents cross-database company associations where supporting evidence is available. Name similarity alone does not prove that two entities are identical. The stated association basis is subject to error and correction; holders, applicants and production sites may have different roles. Data cleaning, linking or transformation does not cure an unauthorized source or replace required permissions.

Copyright, Licenses and Trademarks

Publicly accessible data is not automatically free of copyright, database rights, contractual access restrictions or confidentiality obligations. Source-specific terms and rights remain applicable. Any rights in our software or original presentation do not confer exclusive ownership of underlying public facts or third-party materials. Agency names, CAS identifiers and third-party marks are used for identification and attribution, not endorsement. Access to commercial databases such as SciFinder or Cortellis is not permission to extract or republish them.

Permitted Access and Reuse

Use platform features within the applicable service terms and source licenses. Paid access does not purchase ownership of a third-party dataset or permission to redistribute it. Do not bypass access controls, remove attribution or upload materials without authority. Respect official API usage rules and obtain permission where required. These restrictions do not override rights that applicable law grants to users.

Corrections, Impersonation and Rights Complaints

Report suspected errors, mistaken company associations, unauthorized personal details, impersonation or intellectual-property issues to support@apirfq.com. Include the page URL, exact disputed field or record, the reason, your authority and supporting evidence. A report may require further verification; it does not automatically remove information or establish ownership. Restrictions, correction and complaint review are described in the service terms.

NCBI Website and Data Usage Policies

“It is the responsibility of the user to examine the copyright and licensing restrictions of linked pages”

National Center for Biotechnology Information

NCBI notes that contributed materials, including materials in PubChem, may carry separate rights. Source-specific restrictions must be checked before commercial reuse.

FDA: Drug Master Files

“Are neither approved nor disapproved.”

U.S. Food and Drug Administration

FDA describes the DMF review role. A DMF listing does not establish approval or supplier certification.
